This zine revolves around my parents, my role models. They’ve been happily married for three decades. Witnessing their profound love for each other inspires me daily to show love and kindness to others. I hope this message resonates with you as well after reading.
Bell Hooks defines love by 7 “ingredients”. Reflecting on my artwork over the years, I’ve noticed many pieces that evoke feelings or images of love, whether in romantic, platonic or familial contexts. While choosing my favorites, I interviewed my parents, asking them their thoughts on each of these ingredients.
